Wearing a bow around your waist when you’re as pretty as Hazel is hilarious. A visual confirmation of what’s apparent to anyone who sees her. She’s a gift. Something you’re delighted to receive and more than happy to unwrap.
It’s not easy to rock a sleeveless green jumpsuit but the rewards are great. 1980 was the era when Servalan was the reason boys around Britain watched Blake’s Seven lying on their tummy, and Ursa in Superman II was the hidden-in-plain-sight dominatrix that the world didn’t know it wanted. Her knee-high leather boots, and outfit made almost entirely of holes, doing things to my childhood brain I’m still revelling in dealing with.
Hazel hits all the same buttons. She’s timeless and capable of pulling even the hardest (Ed: don’t…) looks off.
