Rosy is clearly pretty special. So much so that my dad was running four camera bodies loaded with Kodachrome, Kodacolor VR Gold 100, Ektachrome 64 (EPR) and Fujichrome simultaneously when he shot her. The Kodacolor VR Gold and Ektachrome being medium format and shot with Hasselblads, the Kodachrome and Fujichrome 135 likely in Canon bodies.
Perhaps she was a particularly great model who was good for testing, perhaps he just wanted to compare the different films under the same lighting. The differences are pretty clear. Despite minimal editing (and some damage to some of the medium format shots I’ve tried my best to fix), the colour rendering is very different across the set. You can really see how important film choice was back in the day.
Then there’s Rosy of course. Gorgeous, built like a dancer and totally comfortable on camera. If you’re old enough to remember the 90s you’ll definitely remember seeing women like her.
